Silky Soles Fish Therapy in Burton Upon Trent are supporting the wonderful ladies taking part in this year’s Race for Life events.
Silky Soles are inviting all ladies taking part in Race for Life events across the Midlands to bring their race number with them to Silky Soles on Salt Walk off of Union Street in Burton upon Trent, so they benefit from a specially discounted treatment package to pamper their hard working toes, both before and after the race. Silky Soles are making a donation to the Race for Life Campaign for every package sold to help the ladies taking part in one of these inspiring events to raise even more money towards Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
More than one in three people in the UK will develop a form of cancer in their lifetime – a sobering statistic. Several of the staff at Silky Soles have personal experience of supporting family members in their battle against cancer. Owner of Silky Soles Burton Upon Trent, Alexandra Scanlon, said: “My mother has recently beaten bowel cancer, and as a family, we benefited greatly from the support offered to us by the cancer charities. We would like to show our support to the runners and walkers in our area who are helping to raise money to fund the work of researchers, doctors and nurses dedicated to helping more people beat cancer.”
