One of Essex’s leading producers of country and animal products, Essex Animal Feeds has undertaken an extensive makeover of their branding and name. Essex Animal Feeds will now be known as EAF – to reflect their new direction and vast product ranges.

Managing Director Scott Bird established EAF in 1987, and they have grown from a single shop offering animal feeds to a much loved national company distributing their own products throughout the UK. EAF have always been local innovators and they now grow, manufacture and produce horse bedding BedSoft, their own manufactured fire logs Toastie Timbers and haylage brand Frieze Forage.

The new quality, natural brand has been created to emphasise the company’s strong ethos to produce the highest quality products sourced from local farmers and producers where possible.

Scott Bird, Managing Director said: “As a company born from generations of farmers we felt that we now needed a name and identity that clearly reflected who we are and what we offer. From growing our own animal feeds to now manufacturing a wide variety of products and distributing them countrywide our old name and image no longer made sense. We hope that this new look will be more attractive to our customers, industry colleagues and show how proud we are of our business.”
