Australian Horse Training Open Day
Join highly respected Australian horse trainer Jason Webb at his Australian Horse Training Centre, Risebridge Farm on Saturday 15th August to enjoy free demonstrations, entertainment and participate in the celebrations
for the opening of the exciting new facilities!
The event is completely free to attend and to add to the fun Jason Webb will be performing exciting and informative demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Risebridge Farm will be greeting guests from 1.30pm, there will be refreshments, a display of Australian Training equipment and the opportunity to meet the staff and equine pupils. The free displays and demonstrations start from 2pm and are aimed at providing visitors with an insight of Jason and his team’s work, including how they start, train, re-train and handle the horses.
The full list of entertainment includes:
2pm - Official opening of the new Silver Hills Barn followed by a Jason Webb groundwork demonstration on leading and loading.
2.45 – A ride to remember. In Jason’s second demonstration he plans to show a first ride on a young horse. Jason will discuss then demonstrate (on a real unbroken horse) this delicate and crucial stage in a horse’s training!
3.15 – Parade of Equine Pupils. Enjoy a display by a selection of horses that have
benefited from training with Jason and his team, a variety of horses from professional eventers, dressage horses, polo ponies and loveable cobs.
3.30 - My kind of Horse… a demonstration of the Australian Stock Horse. For his final demonstration, Jason will team up with his partner, Risebridge Diesel and other Australian Stock Horses from the Farm for an impressive and inspiring display of the Australian Stock Horse and what they can do!
4pm – Ask your question! Your chance to quiz Jason and his team about their techniques, ask their advice and get all your burning horsey questions answered.
